Commissioned by the Art Gallery Of New South Wales Sydney, for the exhibition The National 2019: New Australian Art, The Ongoing Remains: 3 Parts comprised sculptural elements (Part 1), moving image elements (Part 2) and photographic elements (Part 3). Parts 1, 2 and 3 were presented at diverse sites thoughout the Gallery's Neo-Classical and Modernist architectures.

Part 1: The Emissaries, Keepers of our Stories - installed in the Gallery’s Entrance Vestibule and Grand Court- comprised 26 unique state, intentionally misaligned casts based on the fifteenth century portrait of Niccolò da Uzzano, attributed to the Italian Renaissance master Donatello.

Part 2: Wit(h)ness, A Haunting a 59.19 min single channel HD video projection representing the wearing away of an edition of the casts created for Part 1 amid soft white clouds of dust. It was installed at large scale within the context of the  nineteenth century sculpture collection in the Gallery’s Old Courts.

Part 3: Continuum, The Persistence of Being,
(featured here) comprised photographic portraits of cast residues generated through production of Part 2. A selection of these portraits were installed in galleries on the level below.
